ADULT SERVICES

The Adult Services Division offers a variety of programs to developmentally disabled individuals.   All programs are based on a person-centered approach, creating outcomes designed to support and maintain each adult participant living and working in the community

Day Treatment

Services are directed to address interests, preferences and capabilities of those we serve as well as improve areas where current skill levels require it. Inclusion within the community is stressed; regular and routine use of community resources, and training on needed skills, including those in job settings through actual placements and/or training and volunteer sites.

The Day Treatment Program provides a full compliment of clinical services including psychology, communication, medicine, social work, recreation and psychiatry.  Programs are located in Smithtown, Riverhead.

Residential

The Adult Residential Program supports community living opportunities for people with autism and developmental disabilities who are over the age of 21.  Community-based homes provide the opportunity for people to live independently and to become an integral part of their community, as neighbors, co-workers, and friends.

We recognize that each person has unique and different living preferences and needs.  Therefore, community living supports are designed to best accommodate the individual men and women who live in a particular home.  There are homes located throughout the culturally rich and diverse neighborhoods of Long Island.

Locations Throughout Nassau and Suffolk Counties
