How Does the Career Development Program Work?

Job Development

We perform individualized job development that matches a person's interests and skills to the employer's needs.

Job Matching

We match our person's assets to the needs of your workplace.  We do extensive assessments of all facets of the job which may influence a person's performance.  We learn how to do the job before our individuals are placed.  This guarantees a "hands on" knowledge of the job that the worker will do.

Job Training

Once a placement is made, we provide extensive training at the job site and offer any support our worker may need in order to successfully complete all job duties.  Our staff works closely with supervisors and co-workers to assure that the worker fits in and gets the job done.

Extended Services

All of our job sites receive regular Follow Along visits which keep us informed of our disabled worker's progress and enables you, the employer, to inform us of any concerns.  We also return to the job to train any new tasks the job may require.  Extended services continues for the length of a person's employment.

How Can I Start The Process?

You already have!  Knowing this service is available is the start.  Call or write and we will send a representative to see you and discuss your needs and ways in which we might address them.
